Getting Started with Infusionsoft

The most important thing to have when you start with Infusionsoft – is a well thought out plan.  The system is a tool that can help you multiply sales, marketing, and workflow efforts when set up correctly.  Otherwise, you are setting yourself up to waste two of your most valuable resources – time and money.  Those that struggle most are those who don’t come prepared and those that have expectations that aren’t aligned with the services Infusionsoft offers. Yes, sometimes the sales people, knowingly or unknowingly, set poor exceptions – This is why we recommend speaking with a Infusionsoft Sales Engineer, or even pay an outside consultant for an hour to see if Infusionsoft really is right for you.

As you start with your Infusionsoft Coach, they will be focused on helping you import your contacts, send a first broadcast, and set up a simple campaign to help get your feet wet.  They are there to provide you with “basic training” and years of experience has taught Infusionsoft that the customers who get the most out of the system are those who are able to import, send an email broadcast, and begin to leverage the campaign feature.

If you are looking to get more advanced elements (e.g., e-commerce, sales management, affiliate management, or more complicated campaigns), you should consider either Infusionsoft Professional Services or an outside consultant who will be able to offer a wider array of services.
